The Mission
The mission of Encounter City Church is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
But we've narrowed our focus even further. For us, church is simple. It's about ONE THING-the life-changing presence of Jesus. We think you will find we're not like other churches. We are committed to raw, real, passionate encounters with God. Whether it's worshipping together, praying together, studying Scripture together or just playing together, we are contending for a generation of worshipping, praying, radical firebrands who want to see the kingdom of God on earth.

The Vision
The vision of Encounter City Church is to encounter God, empower people and engage the world.
Our ONE THING has led us to the realization that we were created for encounter with a living God. God made us for Himself.
We have also come to understand that encounter should always lead to empowerment. His presence , His breath, it's life and that life empowers us to live a life of holiness, obedience and commitment to Him. God doesn't just throw us on the planet to fend for ourselves, He has given us everything we need to live for Him.
But that empowerment has a purpose. That purpose is to engage the world with the transforming gospel of Jesus. The gospel is still about reaching people.
