Pastors & Staff

Mark McBride

Lead Pastor

Born and raised in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, Pastor Mark and his family have served Encounter City Church since March of 2013. Raised in the church all of his life, Mark and his wife were transformed early in their ministry by the fires of revival. Hungering for an authentic outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Mark longs to see the church embrace its mission to makes disciples, to see the kingdom of God become a present reality and for the spark of revival to be ignited in Santa Rosa and the world.

In 1997, as a result of the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Florida, God radically changed Pastor Mark and Debbie’s lives and wrecked them for nominal church living. Their vision is to prepare a place where the presence of God changes everything. They believe we are called to be people that carry and advance the kingdom of God in the earth.

Today, even after all the years that have passed since Brownsville, Pastor Mark and Debbie are still passionately calling the church to embrace holiness, the fire of revival and the new thing that God wants to do in the earth. But also, they are more determined than ever to see a greater awakening in our cities than we have ever seen in history.

Pastor Mark completed his Bachelor of Arts in Ministry Leadership and Biblical Studies at Northwest University in Kirkland, Wa. Subsequently, he received his Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida in December of 2013. His passion for life-long learning has inspired a vision to raise up a discipleship movement in the Body of Christ that will train faithful followers of Jesus. In addition to serving Encounter City Church as Lead Pastor, Mark enjoys his role serving as an adjunct online instructor for Southeastern University, investing in the next generation of church leaders and marketplace missionaries.

Casey Dayrit

Children's Pastor

Casey accepted Christ from a very young age and has grown up in the Church all her life.  She came to Encounter City Church with her family back in 2014 when her husband, Roman, was stationed here with the U.S. Coast Guard.  It was at Encounter that Casey was introduced to a hunger and passion for revival.  After experiencing an atmosphere cultivated with revival fire her life was radically transformed.  It was through this transformation that Casey received the charge from the Lord to train up her kids in the ways of the Lord, feeling lead from God to homeschool her kids.  It was also through this process that God gave her a new passion for kids ministry.

In 2018 Casey answered the call to fulltime ministry to become a children's pastor.  Casey's heart is for kids of every age to experience the presence of Jesus and believes that kids can and should be active participants in what God is doing right now.  She believes in the importance of training kids to follow Jesus for  lifetime, and that revival fire is for kids too! Casey received her BA in Child Development from Ashford University in 2014 and is currently working towards her AA in Ministerial Leadership at Southeastern University.  In addition to serving at Encounter City Church and homeschooling her three boys, she is also an online ESL teacher.
